I don’t look like this right now. I’m currently lying in bed with smudged mascara because I didn’t wash my face last night. My hair is frizzy and tangled. I think my dog drooled on me. My body is dehydrated from so many flights so my elbows probably look like ashtrays. I had fries for dinner so my love handles be popping. This picture is not a representation of my current state but from a time when I was beat by the gods and thought “I should save this for when I’m trash...” So yeah. Remember that the next time you feel bad about seeing someone’s highlight reel on Instagram. This ish ain’t real and you are perfect boo. Love yourself 🙏🏽❤️Lilly Singh Instagram: I don’t look like this right now. I’m currently lying in bed with smudged mascara because I didn’t wash my face last night. My hair is frizzy and tangled. So I did the hype and cocky post but it wouldn’t be correct to not express my feelings of extreme gratitude. What a journey y’all. It’s been years and years and years of seeing my city fighting strong and staying loyal to our boys. This season has brought Toronto and Canada together in such a beautiful way that it brings tears to my eyes. No matter where I go in life, there are few things I love more than walking down the streets of Toronto and experiencing the vibes of 100% pure diversity. It’s unreal. It’s glorious. It makes me so proud. I’m so happy we got to experience this together. I don’t care how many flights and credit card swipes it took. WORTH IT. Shout outs to the @raptors for allowing us this moment. Your hard work is benefitting all of us. Shout outs specifically to my boy @kyle_lowry7 who’s been holding it down since time and staying resilient. Big love to @navbhatiasuperfan for helping put Toronto further on the map and for doing it while rocking the fittest turban of all time. Im so happy you’re the image people see when they think of Toronto basketball. Shout outs @humblethepoet for always bringing the good vibes to every game and being my ride or die when the anxiety gets real. And shout outs to all the teams who gave it their all, especially Golden State. Y’all put on a show of a lifetime for us and I’m incredibly appreciative. Big love to those injured and we wish you nothing but recovery and strength. This is a moment I will cherish forever.
